Participants can sign up to attend the potluck dinner based on a first come first served basis. The host determines the size of the party which can range from 8 to over 60. A great way for new members to meet not-so-new members and for everyone to stay connected. Contact: Charlie Clayton, 704-821-9891, charlieclayton@windstream.net.
This group meets on the first Sunday of each month to go out together for a movie’s first showing, usually around 2 p.m. Members try to pick central locations that are close to a snack or coffee shop for post-movie conversation. Participants share input and suggestions for the direction of the group. For information or to get on the email distribution list, contact Dot Miles, miles2@slu.edu, or Jeannette Manning, manningjea@yahoo.com.
