Parenting & Aspergers Support Group

Parents meet to discuss their challenges and share advice and resources. Usually meets the first Sunday at 6:30 p.m. at the Starbucks at the Cotswold Shopping Center. Contact: Margie Storch, mstorch@carolina.rr.com for more information or to be added to email group for meeting reminders.

Preschool Parent Group

Affectionately known as the “PooP” Group, parents of preschoolers meet to discuss their challenges and share advice and resources. Meets second Fridays at 6:00 p.m. in Freeman Hall. Contact: Greg Schropp at schg02@aol.com.

Straight Spouse Support Group

This group provides personal, confidential support to straight spouses or partners, current or former, of gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender mates and mixed-orientation couples. We meet in the library on the first Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. If you would like more information about this group, contact Sage Brook at 704-366-7983.

Women’s Group

This new social and support group is a way to connect on a deeper level with other women of all ages. Meets every second Tuesday and fourth Thursday, typically alternating in the Chapel and the Library. Occasional meetings at individuals’ homes. Please bring a snack to share.
