Sundays at UUCC: Experience our Liberating Faith
For first-time visitors, discovering our congregation often begins on Sunday mornings. Sunday services are a great way to get to know us better. We offer two services each Sunday at 9:15 a.m. and 11:15 a.m., each lasting about an hour. Services typically include readings, hymns, instrumental and vocal music, meditations, an offering and a sermon by our minister or a guest speaker.
Our services focus on a wide variety of religious, philosophical, personal and social issues. We honor the wisdom of the world’s religious traditions and often include readings from the sacred texts of one or more of these traditions in a service.
Following both Sunday morning services, we invite visitors to join us for refreshments in our fellowship hall. There you will find a visitor table offering brochures and reading material about Unitarian Universalism, information about upcoming events and greeters to answer your questions. We also have regularly scheduled get- acquainted events for visitors and newcomers.
For children of members and visitors, we offer religious education classes for 3-year-olds through 8th grade at the 9:15 a.m. service and for 3-year-olds through high school at 11:15 a.m. We also provide a nursery for children up to age 3 during both services.
